Job Description

Location: Downtown Toronto, ON (On-site, 5 days per week)
Language: Strong written and spoken English required
Duration: 3–4 week contract starting May 13, 2026, with possibility of extension
Background Check Requirement: Criminal background check required and references 

About the Opportunity
This is a great short-term opportunity for someone who enjoys being the face of the office and creating a welcoming, organized environment. You’ll join a large, well-established organization in the downtown core, supporting day-to-day front desk operations and ensuring everything runs smoothly for both visitors and internal teams. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact, setting the tone for every in-person and phone interaction.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll welcome guests and act as the first point of contact, ensuring a professional and friendly front desk experience
• You’ll manage incoming calls and emails, redirecting inquiries promptly and accurately
• You’ll keep shared spaces organized by maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in reception and common areas
• You’ll support basic administrative tasks, including handling mail and general office coordination
• You’ll ensure smooth daily operations by proactively addressing front desk needs

Skills and Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of reception or front desk experience
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Professional, reliable, and punctual with a customer-focused mindset
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
• Comfortable working fully on-site in a downtown office setting
• Must be available for the full contract duration
