About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join a healthcare organization at a pivotal stage of a Workday payroll and finance implementation. As a Payroll Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring payroll operations run smoothly while supporting the transition to a new system that will shape the future of the organization.

You will work closely with payroll, finance, and HR teams in a collaborative, unionized environment where accuracy and accountability are essential. Your expertise will help maintain employee trust and contribute to a seamless system rollout that impacts teams across the organization.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll process payroll accurately and on time within a unionized environment
• In this role, you’ll support the implementation of Workday payroll, including testing and validation activities
• You’ll collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure data integrity
• You’ll maintain compliance with applicable legislation, policies, and collective agreements
• You’ll assist with payroll reporting and provide insights to support decision-making

Skills and Qualifications
• 3+ years of payroll administration experience, ideally within a unionized environment
• Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll, including implementation exposure
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
