Our client, a large and complex public sector organization, is seeking a seasoned IT Principal Architect to play a critical role in shaping enterprise-wide technology strategy. You will collaborate closely with domain architects, technical SMEs, and senior leadership to ensure alignment between business capabilities and technology solutions. Your Responsibilities
• You’ll lead enterprise architecture assessments, identifying capability gaps and recommending cost-effective solutions
• You’ll guide and support domain architects in developing architecture deliverables and governance materials
• In this role, you’ll drive IT strategy and roadmap development aligned to business priorities
• You’ll facilitate Architecture Review Board sessions, presenting and defending architectural decisions
• You’ll contribute to risk assessments, policies, and standards aligned with industry best practices
• You’ll evaluate emerging technologies and support system selection and procurement processes
Skills and Qualifications
• 10+ years of progressive enterprise architecture experience across business, information, application, infrastructure, and security domains
• Proven experience leading architecture strategy, roadmaps, and transformation initiatives in complex environments
• Strong technical knowledge across SaaS platforms, cloud, networking, identity management, and security frameworks
• Experience with tools and platforms such as Microsoft M365, Azure, ServiceNow, and enterprise data systems
• Demonstrated ability to develop architecture artifacts, options analyses, and present to diverse stakeholders
• Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
