Location: Surrey, BC (On-site, 5 days per week)

About the Opportunity
Our client in the Education sector is seeking a friendly and organized Administrative Assistant to support their team. This is a front-facing role where you will help create a welcoming and supportive environment for prospective students, many of whom are navigating their first experience with higher education.

You will be part of a collaborative, people-first team that values approachability, responsiveness, and shared success. Working on-site at a busy campus, you will play an important role in keeping daily operations running smoothly while ensuring every visitor and inquiry is handled with care and professionalism.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll greet visitors and internal staff, creating a positive and professional first impression
• You’ll manage incoming inquiries by phone, email, and in person, ensuring timely and accurate responses
• You’ll monitor a shared inbox, triaging and responding to prospective student questions
• You’ll coordinate meetings, book rooms, and arrange logistics such as catering when needed
• You’ll prepare agendas, attend team meetings, and capture clear, concise meeting notes
• You’ll maintain an organized and welcoming reception area at all times

Skills and Qualifications
• 1–3 years of administrative or reception experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a clear and professional phone manner
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and general office tools
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Friendly, approachable, and confident interacting with diverse audiences
• Ability to learn quickly and contribute as a supportive team player
