About the Opportunity
Our client in the public healthcare sector is seeking a highly organized Administrative Support professional to provide short-term coverage within a fast-paced, sensitive clinical environment. This role plays a critical part in supporting teams that coordinate assessments and treatment connected to the legal system, where accuracy, discretion, and timeliness are essential.
You will work closely with physicians, social workers, and intake coordinators across multiple units, ensuring seamless communication between internal teams and external stakeholders such as courts and legal counsel. Your Responsibilities
• You’ll monitor shared inboxes and calendars, managing high volumes of sensitive communications from internal teams and external legal partners
• You’ll coordinate and confirm appointments with physicians, social workers, and external stakeholders, adapting quickly to schedule changes
• You’ll prioritize and distribute time-sensitive reports to courts, ensuring deadlines are consistently met
• You’ll maintain and update internal tracking tools, ensuring all data is accurate and accessible
• You’ll respond to inquiries and provide information to appropriate parties while maintaining strict confidentiality
Skills and Qualifications
• 2+ years of administrative experience, ideally within healthcare, legal, or public sector environments
• Experience as a legal assistant, law clerk, or department secretary is considered a strong asset
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong comfort with shared inbox and calendar management
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of professionalism and discretion
• Proven ability to work independently while collaborating with a broader team
