Job Description

Location: Vaughan, ON (On-site)

Language Requirements: English (strong written and verbal communication skills required)

Duration: 2-month contract with potential for extension

Background Check: Required

Pay Rate: $28–$30/hour

 

About the Role

Our client is seeking a HR Administrator to join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on HR experience while supporting a variety of People & Culture initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support across various People & Culture functions
  • Coordinate onboarding activities and support new hire orientation programs
  • Prepare employment-related documentation, including employment letters
  • Respond to employment verification requests
  • Manage and triage internal and external inquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintain employee records within the HRIS system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Coordinate training sessions and assist with ongoing HR initiatives and projects

 

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Foundational understanding of HR practices and principles
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Experience using HRIS platforms such as UKG is considered an asset
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
