About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with a well-established post-secondary institution to support the development of a high-impact apprenticeship training program in the skilled trades sector. This initiative is focused on building industry-relevant curriculum that will directly support workforce development in refrigeration and related trades.
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with academic leadership, instructional designers, and subject matter experts to bring engaging, outcome-driven learning experiences to life. Working within a collaborative and hands-on team, you’ll play a key role in translating technical content into effective, accessible course materials, with a strong emphasis on speed, quality, and innovation.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll design and develop curriculum using Articulate Rise and Brightspace, ensuring alignment with learning outcomes and program goals
• You’ll collaborate with subject matter experts in the trades to translate technical content into engaging learning experiences
• You’ll work closely with academic leadership and team members to meet project timelines, with an initial delivery target in early project phases
• You’ll support the creation of online and blended learning materials that are practical, accessible, and industry-relevant
• You’ll apply instructional design best practices and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or learning experience design
• Experience working in post-secondary education, or with apprenticeship/trades-based training programs
• Demonstrated experience using Articulate Rise and Learning Management Systems such as Brightspace
• Strong ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including subject matter experts and academic teams
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with a focus on meeting tight timelines
• Experience or interest in applying AI tools to support curriculum development is considered an asset
• Background working with technical audiences, field workers, or engineering environments is an asset
