About the Opportunity
Our client, a large and complex public-facing organization, is seeking a Revenue Audit Specialist to support their Revenue Accounting team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of high-volume transaction data, contributing to financial integrity and operational transparency.
Working closely with finance leaders, IT teams, and external partners, you will help validate revenue streams, investigate discrepancies, and strengthen internal controls. Your Responsibilities
• You’ll audit daily revenue integrations, validating completeness and accuracy of interface control accounts
• You’ll investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and collaborate with IT and stakeholders to resolve issues
• You’ll perform reconciliations, variance analysis, and support high-volume transaction reviews
• You’ll prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accurate financial reporting
• You’ll maintain audit documentation and support internal and external audit activities
• You’ll contribute to monthly reporting and assist in developing enhanced revenue metrics
• You’ll support system updates, testing, and cross-functional finance activities as needed
Skills and Qualifications
• 3+ years of progressive experience in audit and accounting roles
• Post-secondary education in business, finance, or accounting, CPA in progress preferred
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and IF functions
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and internal controls
• Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is considered an asset
