Cost Accounting Manager

Location: North York, ON (Hybrid with free parking onsite, 4 days on-site, Fridays remote)

In this Cost Accounting Manager role, you will play a critical part in strengthening operational finance by owning costing and inventory reporting in a complex, fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with the Controller and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls. Your Responsibilities
• You’ll manage inventory accounting and costing processes to ensure accuracy and consistency across operations
• You’ll support internal controls by identifying risks and strengthening financial processes
• In this role, you’ll prepare and review operational financial reports in alignment with accounting standards
• You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and improve reporting quality
• You’ll contribute to system and process improvements across ERP platforms

Skills and Qualifications
• 7+ years of accounting experience, ideally within a multinational manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, Canadian GAAP is an asset
• Proven experience with inventory accounting, costing, and internal controls
• Solid technical accounting foundation with the ability to communicate concepts clearly
• Experience working with multiple ERP systems, SysPro is an asset
• CPA designation is considered an asset
