About the Opportunity
Our client, a global leader in the industrial manufacturing sector, is seeking a Business Controller to act as a strategic financial partner across their North American operations. Your Responsibilities
- You’ll lead financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
- You’ll provide actionable insights on sales, bookings, and business development to support strategic growth decisions.
- You’ll partner with operational leaders to assess profitability, identify risks, and uncover opportunities for margin improvement.
- You’ll ensure accuracy and transparency of divisional financial results, aligning with corporate objectives.
- You’ll support compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements across financial processes.
- You’ll enhance financial systems and reporting tools to improve data quality and decision-making speed.
Skills and Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, business controlling, or operations finance
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and margin analysis expertise
- Solid understanding of US GAAP, revenue recognition, and financial reporting processes
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, preferably within public companies
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across global, matrixed teams
- CPA designation is an asset, but not required
