About the Opportunity
Our client in the public health data space is seeking a detail-oriented Production Designer to support the creation of high-quality, accessible information products. Working within a collaborative Visual Design team, you will contribute to meaningful reporting that informs decision-making across Canada’s healthcare landscape.
In this role, you will partner closely with designers, coordinators, and internal stakeholders to bring complex data to life through clear, consistent, and visually engaging formats. Your Responsibilities
• You’ll produce high-quality reports, charts, tables, and presentations aligned with established visual standards
• In this role, you’ll format documents using templates and style guides to ensure consistency across deliverables
• You’ll incorporate feedback from proofreaders and stakeholders with accuracy and attention to detail
• You’ll review and quality check work from peers and external partners to ensure standards are met
• You’ll collaborate with senior designers to develop custom visual products
• You’ll maintain organized working files and final outputs in line with internal procedures
Skills and Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in production design, desktop publishing, or a related field
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office tools
• Strong understanding of graphic design fundamentals and layout principles
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and concepts
• Knowledge of accessibility standards including WCAG and AODA
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
