About the Opportunity
Our client, a large and complex organization in the infrastructure and asset management space, is seeking a Auditor to design and implement a robust audit framework for vendor managed inventory processes. This role sits within a strategic transformation team and plays a key part in strengthening operational reliability and vendor accountability across the organization.
You will work closely with cross-functional partners across maintenance, IT, finance, and external vendors to shape a scalable and sustainable audit model. Your Responsibilities
• You’ll design and implement a comprehensive audit framework for vendor managed inventory processes, covering both physical and system-based controls
• In this role, you’ll define audit methodologies including sampling, scoring models, and evidence requirements
• You’ll establish audit frequency guidelines based on vendor risk, performance, and volume
• You’ll collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure audit processes are practical and aligned with operational realities
• You’ll develop audit tools such as checklists, scorecards, and corrective action templates
• You’ll define KPIs and recommend escalation paths and consequences for audit outcomes
Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in inventory auditing, internal audit, or operational risk roles
• Strong understanding of physical inventory controls and root cause analysis
• Experience working with ERP or inventory management systems and analyzing transactional data
• Proven ability to assess risk, identify control gaps, and evaluate process compliance
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word
• Strong communication skills with the ability to facilitate discussions across technical and business teams
