Senior Full Stack Developer

• Location: Toronto or Montreal, Hybrid, 2 days on-site

Our client, a leading organization in the media and broadcasting space, is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support a transformative studio modernization initiative. This project is focused on replacing legacy broadcast infrastructure with scalable, software-driven solutions, helping redefine how content is delivered and managed in a digital-first environment.

You will collaborate closely with solution architects, lead developers, and cross-functional product teams to build and enhance applications that power critical operations. Your Responsibilities
• You’ll contribute to the design and development of scalable web applications across both frontend and backend components
• In this role, you’ll build and maintain APIs and integrate cloud-based solutions across platforms
• You’ll collaborate with developers and architects to shape technical designs and development standards
• You’ll support testing efforts, including unit, integration, and functional testing to ensure quality delivery
• You’ll participate in deployment activities and help optimize CI/CD pipelines
• You’ll assist in application maintenance, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues

Skills and Qualifications
• 3 to 5 years of full stack application development experience in a professional environment
• Strong expertise in Python and Django, along with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and containerization tools like Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL or MongoDB
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions and version control systems like Git
• Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and modern software development practices
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a bilingual environment
