About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established organization in the financial services sector, is seeking a Supervisor, Registered Plans to lead a high-performing administration and processing team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of registered plan transactions that directly impact client outcomes and advisor relationships.
You will work closely with a collaborative leadership team and experienced administrators, acting as both a subject matter expert and a people leader. Your Responsibilities
• You’ll oversee daily operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of registered plan transactions
• You’ll lead and support a team of administrators, managing workload distribution and performance tracking
• You’ll review and approve complex transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• You’ll act as a key resource for advisors, providing guidance on registered plan inquiries
• You’ll monitor service levels and reporting metrics, contributing to planning and performance improvements
• You’ll step in as a backup to management when needed, supporting leadership continuity
Skills and Qualifications
• 10+ years of progressive experience in financial services, with strong administration and processing expertise
• In-depth knowledge of registered plans such as RRSPs and TFSAs, including transactions and lifecycle events
• Proven experience leading or mentoring teams in an operational environment
• Strong understanding of compliance requirements, including provincial and federal regulations
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail
• Experience with financial systems or datafile platforms is considered an asset
