In this role, you will partner closely with the senior leader and leadership team, helping to coordinate operations, communications, and key initiatives. You will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the organization while supporting governance activities and community events that make a tangible impact.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll manage complex calendars, scheduling, and daily priorities for senior leadership
  • You’ll act as a key point of contact, handling communications, correspondence, and information flow with discretion
  • You’ll support board and committee meetings, including preparing materials, coordinating logistics, and taking minutes
  • You’ll assist in planning and executing internal and external events throughout the year
  • You’ll oversee administrative operations such as file management, supplies, and office processes
  • You’ll coordinate travel, expenses, and vendor relationships, including IT support and office services

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2–3+ years of administrative experience supporting senior leaders
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a calm, poised, and adaptable approach
  • Experience in non-profit, faith-based, or community organizations is an asset as is knowledge of the Anglican Church.
