Job Description

Location: Mississauga, ON (On-site, 5 days per week)
Language: Strong English communication required, both written and spoken. Punjabi, Hindi, or Urdu are considered assets

About the Opportunity

This is more than a reporting role. You will step into a newly created position where your insights directly influence business strategy, sales direction, and operational efficiency. Working within a fast-paced commercial environment, you will dig into complex datasets to uncover opportunities for margin improvement, revenue growth, and smarter decision-making.

You will collaborate closely with teams across sales, accounts receivable, IT, and procurement while owning the analytics function end-to-end. This is an opportunity to act as a subject matter expert, bringing clarity to data and helping teams understand where to focus, what to improve, and how to drive meaningful results.

Your Responsibilities
  • You will analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for revenue and margin growth
  • You will transform reporting into actionable insights, guiding sales teams on where to focus their efforts
  • You will build and refine data frameworks, improving accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
  • You will leverage AI tools and automation to modernize reporting and enable real-time decision-making
  • You will collaborate cross-functionally to align financial insights with operational execution
  • You will improve KPIs and performance tracking to measure business success and forecast future trends
Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in an analytical or business analysis role, in the retail space is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and Power Pivot, with strong data visualization experience
  • Experience using AI tools or advanced analytics to generate insights and support decision-making
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present insights to non-technical stakeholders
