Your Responsibilities
• You'll own the full month-end close process, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting for a large production facility
• In this role, you'll lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities while providing meaningful analysis to support business decisions
• You'll partner closely with plant leadership, maintenance teams, and operational stakeholders to identify opportunities for efficiency and performance improvement
• You'll oversee inventory accounting, working capital management, and fixed asset reporting, ensuring strong financial controls and data integrity
• You'll develop financial models and operational insights that help leadership understand performance drivers and business risks
• You'll support audit requirements, internal controls, and compliance activities while ensuring adherence to accounting standards and company policies
• You'll act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, translating complex financial information into practical recommendations and actions
Skills and Qualifications
• CPA designation with 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience
• Demonstrated experience within manufacturing, industrial, building materials, mining, aggregates, or other plant-based environments
• Strong expertise in month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and operational finance
• Proven experience with inventory accounting, standard costing, cost analysis, working capital management, and manufacturing performance metrics
• Exposure to US GAAP, audit processes, SOX controls, and internal control environments
• Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to leverage financial systems to drive insights and reporting
• Strong business partnering, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence operational decision-making
• High-energy, proactive approach with a willingness to thrive in a fast-paced environment undergoing growth and transformation
