Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and infrastructure sector, is seeking a Controller to support a key product line within a complex, high-volume environment. This role sits at the intersection of finance and operations, partnering closely with plant leadership and senior stakeholders to drive performance, strengthen reporting, and support strategic decision-making.

You will play a critical role in ensuring financial integrity while contributing to large-scale planning initiatives across multiple sites. Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll own and be responsible for full-cycle accounting, including month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
  • You’ll partner with operational teams to provide financial insights, identify opportunities, and support decision-making
  • You’ll support budgeting, forecasting, and mid-term planning across multiple sites
  • You’ll ensure compliance with US GAAP and contribute to ongoing SOX implementation and controls
  • You’ll prepare and present financial reports, analysis, and recommendations to senior leadership
  • You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, maintenance, and operations to improve financial performance

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive financial management or accounting experience
  • CPA designation or equivalent professional accounting certification
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, with IFRS experience considered an asset
  • Experience with SAP and advanced financial modeling capabilities
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders across different levels of the organization
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach
