About the Opportunity
Our client, a large and complex organization within the industrial and operations sector, is seeking a Process Lead, Inventory Control to drive the design and alignment of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) processes. This role sits at the intersection of operations, systems, and transformation, offering the opportunity to shape how inventory is managed across a multi-stakeholder environment.
You’ll work closely with internal teams, vendors, and subject matter experts to map, design, and implement scalable processes that improve efficiency and governance. This is a highly collaborative role where your ability to bring structure, clarity, and alignment will directly impact long-term operational success.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll lead end-to-end process mapping initiatives, facilitating workshops to gather insights from operational, system, and vendor stakeholders
• In this role, you’ll analyze current inventory workflows, identifying gaps and driving improvements aligned with best practices
• You’ll design system-integrated processes, leveraging tools such as HxGN to define workflows and data requirements
• You’ll manage project timelines, risks, and milestones to ensure structured and successful delivery
• You’ll collaborate across teams and vendors to ensure alignment between physical operations and system capabilities
• You’ll establish KPIs and governance frameworks to monitor performance and ensure long-term reliability
Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in inventory control, process improvement, or operations transformation
• Strong expertise in inventory management across physical operations and system-based controls
• Proven ability to conduct process mapping, workflow analysis, and requirements gathering
• Experience working with ERP or inventory systems, ideally HxGN
• Proficiency with MS Office tools including Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
