Our client, a large and complex organization within the public sector, is seeking a detail-driven Financial Analyst to support critical tax and compliance initiatives. Your Responsibilities
- You’ll review project-level financial activities and extract supporting documentation for regulatory filings
- You’ll build and maintain detailed working papers that link source data to financial positions and calculations
- You’ll collaborate with project teams to clarify scope, resolve gaps, and document key assumptions
- You’ll design and improve workflows to streamline data collection, tracking, and reporting processes
- You’ll analyze contracts and financial data to develop supportable schedules and allocations
- You’ll ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain audit-ready documentation under tight timelines
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, tax, or compliance-focused roles
- CPA designation (completed or in progress) or equivalent advanced financial training such as MBA or AFOA
- Strong knowledge of tax accounting principles and regulatory interpretation
- Advanced analytical skills with experience building reconciliations and financial models
- Proven ability to manage documentation with accuracy, traceability, and audit readiness
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools such as Power BI, SharePoint, and enterprise platforms
