About the Opportunity

Our client, a well-established organization in the real estate sector, is seeking a Senior Property Manager to oversee a large multi-residential portfolio in Montreal. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, and a best-in-class resident experience across approximately 900+ units.

You will work closely with leasing, operations, and vendor partners while leading an on-site team. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building strong teams, improving collaboration, and delivering exceptional service to residents.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll lead and develop a team of 4 direct reports, fostering accountability, collaboration, and strong performance
  • You’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of a multi-residential portfolio, ensuring high standards in service, maintenance, and resident experience
  • You’ll manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting, driving cost control and improved NOI
  • You’ll handle escalations, arrears, and complex resident matters with professionalism and sound judgement
  • You’ll oversee vendor relationships and third-party contractors, ensuring quality service and cost efficiency
  • You’ll partner with leasing and operations teams to optimize occupancy, retention, and overall property performance

Skills and Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in multi-residential property management
  • Bilingual in French and English is required
  • Proven leadership experience managing on-site teams in a high-volume environment
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Experience managing large portfolios or multi-site operations
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Experience with Yardi or similar systems is an asset
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle required
