Our client, a well-established organization in the enterprise technology space, is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to play a critical role in advancing quality across complex systems. In this role, you will work closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to ensure applications meet the highest standards of performance, security, and reliability. Your contributions will directly impact how systems scale, perform, and deliver value to end users, while helping evolve testing practices through automation and AI-driven innovation.

Your Responsibilities

• You’ll design and build automated test frameworks and scripts for enterprise and web-based applications
• You’ll execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing to validate requirements
• In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test scenarios and coverage gaps
• You’ll perform manual and exploratory testing where automation is not feasible
• You’ll validate backend logic, data integrity, and system integrations
• You’ll support UAT, release readiness, and post-deployment validation activities
• You’ll contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation strategies

Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software testing or quality engineering, with automation exposure
• Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar
• Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development environments
• Experience testing APIs, web applications, and enterprise systems
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
