About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with a large public sector organization seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to support complex system initiatives. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the reliability and performance of critical applications, contributing to projects that have a meaningful impact on services delivered to the community.
You’ll collaborate with project managers, developers, and business stakeholders to bring clarity and quality to every stage of the development lifecycle. Your Responsibilities
• You’ll develop comprehensive testing strategies, test plans, and test cases aligned with project goals
• You’ll plan and coordinate testing efforts across large systems, including GUI and non-GUI environments
• You’ll execute functional, non-functional, and integration testing to ensure system quality and performance
• You’ll support and participate in user acceptance testing, ensuring business requirements are validated
• You’ll provide guidance on testing tools, methodologies, and resource planning
• You’ll collaborate closely with technical and business teams throughout design, development, and implementation phases
Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance and software testing
• Proven experience executing functional, non-functional, and integration testing
• Hands-on experience supporting and participating in UAT activities
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and structured development practices
• Experience with automated testing tools, CASE tools, and version control systems
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and QA best practices
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a collaborative mindset
