Job Description

Location: North York, ON (On-site, Yonge & Sheppard – 10-minute walk from subway)
Language: English – strong written and spoken communication required
Duration: 6-month contract (part-time, with potential extension or permanency) you will be working 22 hours a week 

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support a client operating within the legal and secured lending/financial services sector. This role plays a key part in processing and maintaining records related to asset registrations and financial interests under regulated systems.

You will be working with highly sensitive legal and financial documentation, requiring strong attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to strict processes. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a structured, focused environment and enjoys working independently on high-volume tasks.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will enter and update data accurately into internal systems.
  • You will create and maintain folders and organize digital records.
  • You will review and process documents to ensure information is complete and correct.
  • You will navigate internal systems to locate and update records.
  • You will follow clear instructions and procedures when handling sensitive information.
  • You will work in a focused environment while completing repetitive tasks with high accuracy.

Skills and Qualifications

  • You will have previous experience in data entry or administrative roles involving high-volume data processing.
  • You will have strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • You will have excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
  • You will have experience working with confidential or sensitive information.
  • You will have strong organizational skills and the ability to follow instructions carefully.
  • You will have the ability to work in a structured, distraction-free environment with minimal supervision.
  • You will have reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

Additional Details

  • Hours: Part-time (approx. 22.5 hours/week), rotating shifts within 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
  • Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Friday 
  • Compensation: $19/hour
  • Work Environment: Fully on-site, no parking available (TTC accessible)
