Job Description

Location: Greater Toronto Area, Hybrid
Language: English, strong written and verbal communication required

You will lead a dedicated team while partnering closely with various departments to modernize how employee leave programs are delivered. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in transformation environments.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll lead, coach, and develop a team, building advisory capabilities in case management and return-to-work planning
• In this role, you’ll drive a transformation roadmap focused on process optimization, automation, and improved service delivery
• You’ll partner with cross-functional stakeholders to manage complex cases and guide strategic decision-making
• You’ll leverage data and analytics to identify trends, improve outcomes, and inform leadership
• You’ll ensure compliance with provincial and federal legislation, maintaining governance and operational rigor across programs
• You’ll oversee vendor relationships and ensure alignment across systems and occupational claims platforms

Skills and Qualifications
• 7+ years of progressive experience in leave or disability management and 2+ years in a managerial position.
• Deep expertise in Canadian provincial and federal legislation related to disability, accommodations, and workers’ compensation
• Proven experience leading operational improvement initiatives
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Experience working with leave or disability modules is required; exposure to occupational claims systems is an asset
• Excellent communication skills with a consultative, collaborative leadership style
Experience working with HR platforms such as Workday, SuccessFactors or UKG Pro.
