Administrative Assistant, Marketing & Operations 

Location: Toronto, ON, Hybrid, 4 days on-site (Monday to Thursday)
Language: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required, French is an asset
Duration: 6-month contract

Our client, a globally recognized organization within the consumer goods and retail sector, is seeking a polished and proactive Administrative Assistant to support a high-performing marketing and sales team. You will collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and administrative professionals to keep operations running smoothly. From coordinating meetings and supporting events to managing purchase orders and budgets, your work will play a key role in ensuring the team delivers seamless experiences both internally and externally.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will provide day-to-day administrative support to marketing and sales teams, ensuring smooth coordination of activities

  • You will manage purchase orders, invoicing, and budget tracking with accuracy and attention to detail

  • You will coordinate meetings and events, including scheduling, catering, and room setup

  • You will support shipping, packaging, and logistics for marketing materials and events

  • You will assist with data entry, reporting, and maintaining organized records using Excel and internal systems

  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects and resolve operational needs


Skills and Qualifications

  • 2 to 3+ years of administrative experience in a corporate or professional environment. Experience in the beauty or retail industry is a strong asset. Must have completed a post-secondary degree or diploma.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced setting. Experience with expenses management/invoicing/purchase orders is strongly preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Must be able to do V-Lookups and Pivot tables in Excel. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a polished and professional approach

  • Experience supporting marketing, retail, or consumer goods teams is an asset

  • Experience working with SAP is a strong asset.
