About the Opportunity
Our client, a respected firm within the financial services and wealth management space, is seeking a detail-oriented Trading Associate to join their collaborative investment team. This opportunity offers hands-on exposure to buy-side trading and portfolio operations in a fast-paced, high-integrity environment where precision and teamwork are critical.
In this role, you will work closely with traders, portfolio managers, and operations professionals to support daily trading activity across client portfolios. Your contributions will directly impact the accuracy and efficiency of trade execution and portfolio management, making you a key part of the investment process.

Your Responsibilities
You’ll execute and support trades across asset classes including mutual funds, FX, and money market instruments
You’ll assist portfolio managers with trade execution and allocation across client accounts
You’ll monitor daily trading activity to ensure timely and accurate settlement
You’ll track portfolio cash balances and support cash management processes
You’ll coordinate with custodians to resolve trade discrepancies and settlement issues
You’ll maintain accurate trading records and documentation using OMS platforms
Skills and Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in trading support, portfolio administration, or financial services
Strong interest in capital markets and buy-side investing
High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Experience with OMS or EMS platforms such as SSNC Moxy is an asset
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general systems
Strong communication skills and ability to work within a collaborative team
