About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a well-established Canadian organization to recruit a Production Operations & Systems Specialist for an exciting 18-month contract opportunity. This role sits at the intersection of production operations, technology, and process improvement, supporting teams that bring products and initiatives to market through effective planning, collaboration, and operational excellence.

Your Responsibilities
• You'll drive and maintain multiple seasonal production calendars, ensuring key milestones and deliverables remain on track
• You'll proactively identify timeline risks, recommend solutions, and help teams navigate changing priorities
• You'll serve as the subject matter expert for the organization's PLM platform, supporting optimization, adoption, and ongoing enhancements
• You'll lead data governance initiatives and help establish best practices related to system usage and reporting
• You'll coordinate onboarding, training, and learning initiatives for PLM and other business-critical software tools
• You'll partner with IT teams, business leaders, and stakeholders to gather requirements and implement process improvements
• You'll provide regular updates, recommendations, and operational insights to leadership and key stakeholders
Skills and Qualifications
• 5–8 years of progressive experience in production operations, product development operations, production planning, or a related function
• Strong production calendar management experience with the ability to manage multiple timelines and priorities simultaneously
• Demonstrated experience working with PLM systems, preferably Flex PLM or similar product lifecycle management platforms
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn, administer, and support business software applications
• Experience leading process improvement initiatives and identifying operational efficiencies
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with experience supporting senior leaders and cross-functional teams
• Highly self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently with minimal oversight
