About the Opportunity

Our client, a leading multi-location retail organization, is seeking a Bilingual Learning and Development Professional to support the design and delivery of high-impact learning experiences that support store operations across Canada. Based in Calgary, AB or Oakville, ON and working primarily on-site, this role plays a key part in strengthening capability, consistency, and performance across teams.

You will own your learning portfolio from needs analysis through delivery and evaluation. Partnering closely with store leaders and subject matter experts, you will translate operational realities into practical, engaging training, delivered confidently in both English and French.

Your Responsibilities

• You’ll support the design and development of bilingual learning solutions, including eLearning modules, presentations, facilitator guides, and job aids in English and French.
• You’ll create and update eLearning content using tools such as Articulate Rise and Storyline, with templates, standards, and peer support provided.
• You’ll support the development and facilitation of bilingual training programs across in-person, virtual, and blended learning environments.
• You’ll partner with senior learning team members and subject matter experts to adapt operational content into practical, learner-centered training for retail teams.
• You’ll deliver training sessions with guidance and feedback as you continue to build facilitation confidence and experience.
• You’ll review learner feedback and participate in continuous improvement discussions to enhance learning effectiveness and engagement.
• You’ll review bilingual learning materials to support linguistic accuracy, tone, and consistency in both English and Quebecois French.

Skills and Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience delivering or supporting training in English and French.
• Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing in French is required.
• Experience facilitating training independently is considered an asset but is not required.
• Demonstrated experience creating facilitator guides, job aids, presentations, or storyboards.
• Exposure to blended learning environments and an interest in learning evaluation and instructional design best practices.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles and learner engagement techniques.
• Experience in retail, service, or multi-location environments is considered an asset.
