About the Opportunity
Our client, a growing organization in the residential real estate and property management sector, is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a dynamic and evolving community in Toronto. This unique opportunity combines operational leadership with community building, supporting both an established rental property and a newly developing condominium and rental site with shared amenities.

In this role, you will serve as the on-site leader, working closely with residents, condominium stakeholders, and community partners while guiding a multidisciplinary team. With a blend of long-term residents and new homeowners, this position is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments and is passionate about delivering exceptional resident experiences while driving operational excellence.

What’s In It for You
This is an opportunity to step into a highly visible leadership role where you can shape day-to-day operations, mentor a growing team, and directly influence the success of a transforming community. You will be empowered to make meaningful decisions while working in an environment that values accountability, collaboration, and service excellence.

You will gain exposure to both stabilized assets and new development projects, providing a unique blend of traditional property management experience and forward-looking community planning. The organization fosters a culture of continuous improvement, professional growth, and resident-focused service.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll lead the day-to-day operations of assigned rental and shared condominium facilities, ensuring high standards of maintenance, cleanliness, and safety.
• You’ll oversee and mentor maintenance, leasing, and administrative team members, fostering accountability and service excellence.
• You’ll manage building systems including HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems, coordinating preventative and emergency maintenance activities.
• You’ll serve as the primary escalation point for resident and owner concerns, resolving issues professionally and efficiently.
• You’ll liaise with condominium boards and external partners, ensuring compliance with governing legislation and shared facility agreements.
• You’ll monitor budgets, rent collection, vendor contracts, and operational performance to support financial health and cost control.

Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of progressive experience in residential property management, condominium management, or mixed-use environments.
• Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act and Condominium Act.
• Demonstrated leadership experience overseeing multidisciplinary site-based teams.
• Practical understanding of building systems and hands-on operational troubleshooting.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software, with Yardi considered an asset.
• Valid G Class driver's licence and access to a personal vehicle.

Note from the Hiring Manager
“We’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves, lead from the front, and help shape a community that’s evolving. Strong operations experience and genuine care for residents will set you apart.”
