A well established insurance organization undergoing significant HR and payroll transformation is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. Your Responsibilities
• You'll support end-to-end payroll processing activities while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and service excellence
• In this role, you'll assist with payroll audits, validations, and employee payroll inquiries
• You'll maintain payroll records and help ensure the integrity of payroll data
• Working closely with payroll and HR teams, you'll support Workday payroll operations, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives
• You'll leverage Excel to analyze, validate, and report on payroll-related data
• In this role, you'll contribute to process enhancements that improve payroll efficiency and employee experience
Skills and Qualifications
• 1-3 years of payroll administration experience
• Experience processing payroll within a Canadian environment
• Hands-on experience running payroll within Workday, including participation in multiple payroll cycles
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience working with large datasets
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate results
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in a unionized environment is highly preferred
• Exposure to Quebec payroll is considered an asset
• PCP designation completed or currently in progress is considered an asset
