About the Opportunity
Our client, a highly respected public sector institution, is seeking a ServiceNow Technical Advisor specializing in CMDB to support a critical transformation within their service management platform. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the stability, accuracy, and evolution of enterprise configuration management systems that support national-level operations.
You will collaborate closely with platform leaders, technical teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to enhance CMDB capabilities and data quality. Your Responsibilities
• You’ll assess the current CMDB environment and develop a roadmap for stabilization and enhancement
• In this role, you’ll identify and implement improvements to CMDB data quality, governance, and controls
• You’ll troubleshoot and enhance existing integrations and interfaces impacting the CMDB
• You’ll lead the development of technical plans, epics, and user stories while tracking progress against milestones
• You’ll provide expert guidance to stakeholders and ensure seamless transition from development to operations
• You’ll explore opportunities to leverage automation and AI capabilities to improve efficiency and data integrity
Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of recent experience as a technical lead on ServiceNow implementations
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB, including data models and CI lifecycle
• Strong experience with Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB integrations
• Proven expertise in CMDB data governance, including KPIs, reconciliation, and normalization
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and engage diverse stakeholders
• Post-secondary education in a related field
