About the Opportunity
Our client in the public sector is seeking an Artificial Intelligence Developer to help shape and deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions that drive meaningful operational impact. Working closely with an AI Product Lead and cross-functional partners, you will play a key role in translating business needs into scalable, responsible, and high-performing AI systems.

This role offers the opportunity to own the full AI lifecycle, from defining use cases and preparing data to designing, deploying, and continuously improving solutions. You will contribute to initiatives such as intelligent search, document understanding, and conversational AI, all within a regulated and governance-driven environment that prioritizes reliability, safety, and real-world adoption.

What’s In It for You
Join a collaborative and forward-thinking team where your ideas and technical expertise will directly influence enterprise AI strategy and delivery. You will gain exposure to modern AI practices, including large language models and agent-based systems, while working in a culture that values innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll own the end-to-end delivery of AI solutions, from problem framing and data definition through to deployment and continuous improvement
• You’ll design and implement enterprise LLM solutions using techniques such as retrieval-augmented generation, prompt engineering, and agent-based workflows
• You’ll collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical, high-impact AI applications
• You’ll build and enhance data pipelines for structured and unstructured data to support scalable AI use cases
• You’ll deploy and maintain solutions within Azure, applying MLOps practices for monitoring, versioning, and reliability
• You’ll ensure solutions meet standards for governance, compliance, and responsible AI, including explainability and performance evaluation

Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience developing and delivering end-to-end AI or machine learning solutions in production environments
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and building applications using large language models, including RAG and prompt design
• Proven ability to translate stakeholder needs into technical solutions with measurable business impact
• Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and data platforms such as Databricks
• Solid understanding of data engineering concepts, including building pipelines for structured and unstructured data
• Familiarity with MLOps practices, version control tools such as GitHub, and enterprise development standards
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
