This 12-month contract offers the opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a flexible hybrid environment based in Oshawa.

In this role, you will partner with business leaders, data specialists, and technical teams to translate operational needs into production-ready AI systems. Working primarily within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem and platforms such as Databricks, you will gain exposure to modern AI architectures, including agent-based systems, while strengthening your expertise in cloud-native development and MLOps practices.

  • You’ll integrate AI systems within Azure cloud environments and enterprise data platforms such as Databricks.
  • You’ll implement machine learning operations practices, including model versioning, controlled deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
  • You’ll produce technical documentation and clearly communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in AI, machine learning, or advanced software development roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, mathematics, physics, or a related technical discipline is nice to have.
  • Strong Python programming skills with experience building and deploying production code.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing AI systems using large language models and predictive modeling techniques.
  • Experience working in Azure cloud environments and with data platforms such as Databricks.
