UI/UX Designer (ServiceNow)

Location: Oshawa, ON. Hybrid- 2 days a week on-site

Job Type: 24 month contract, 35 hours per week

About the Opportunity

As a UI/UX Designer, you’ll focus on understanding employee needs and transforming complex processes into intuitive, accessible digital experiences across the ServiceNow platform.

Working within a large public sector environment, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows spanning IT service management, HR service delivery, security incident response, and vendor risk management. Your work will directly influence usability, adoption, and employee satisfaction, helping teams work smarter and with greater confidence.

Your Responsibilities

• You’ll create and maintain a multi-quarter experience roadmap aligned to business outcomes such as resolution time, satisfaction, and adoption.
• In this role, you’ll plan and conduct user research, synthesizing insights into personas, journey maps, and opportunity backlogs.
• You’ll design clear information architecture, navigation, and search experiences that reduce time to complete tasks.
• You’ll produce wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using native ServiceNow patterns and best practices.
• You’ll collaborate closely with product owners, engineers, and analysts to validate designs and support successful releases.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing user experiences for enterprise or internal service platforms.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar workflow-based platforms is preferred.
• Strong expertise in user research, journey mapping, interface design, and content clarity.
• Hands-on experience creating design systems and applying accessibility standards.
• Formal education or training in UX design, service design, or accessibility principles.
