About the Opportunity

This is a high-impact opportunity for a seasoned Organizational Change Management (OCM) professional to play a critical role in advancing enterprise-wide data maturity. You’ll lead the change strategy for the rollout of an Enterprise Data Strategy and Data Governance capabilities within a large, complex public sector organization.

Data Governance is still an emerging discipline in this environment, which means success depends on thoughtful change leadership, organizational sensitivity, and clear, compelling communication. You’ll partner closely with data leaders, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure new governance practices are understood, adopted, and embedded into day-to-day ways of working.

What’s In It for You

You’ll work in a people-centric, mission-driven environment where your expertise directly supports long-term organizational sustainability and informed decision-making. This role offers meaningful influence, executive-level exposure, and the chance to shape how change is delivered across a growing data function. You’ll also enjoy the flexibility of a fully remote engagement while contributing to work that truly matters.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll lead the end-to-end OCM strategy for Data Governance initiatives, grounded in ADKAR principles.

  • You’ll assess organizational readiness, identify change risks, and design mitigation strategies.

  • You’ll build trusted relationships across business units, navigating organizational dynamics with confidence and care.

  • You’ll develop and deliver clear, engaging communication materials, including leadership briefings, success stories, and adoption messaging.

  • You’ll support data literacy and adoption through training, workshops, and learning initiatives.

  • You’ll apply structured project management practices to track deliverables, dependencies, and progress.

  • You’ll define adoption metrics, measure progress, and report outcomes to senior stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive Organizational Change Management experience within complex enterprise environments

  • Proven application of ADKAR or Prosci-based change methodologies

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including executive-level advisory experience

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities

  • Experience conducting readiness assessments, impact analyses, and gap assessments

  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities

  • Experience with Data Governance, Data Literacy, or enterprise data initiatives is an asset
