Our client, a respected organization in the non-profit sector, is seeking a detail focused Database Update Clerk to support a national contact verification and data refresh project. In this role, you will help reconnect with fellows across Canada, ensuring their information is accurate, complete, and ready to transition into an integrated system.
You will collaborate closely with a small, supportive team and engage directly with high profile leaders, including executives and healthcare professionals. This work is people centered and meaningful, touching on relationship building, data stewardship, and maintaining the integrity of sensitive information.
You will join a thoughtful team that values accuracy, respect, and human connection. This is a fully remote role that offers flexibility, including the option for compressed hours and a balanced 35 hour work week.
You will gain exposure to senior leaders across the country while contributing to an important data modernization initiative. You will also enjoy a calm, organized environment that trusts you to work independently while offering support when needed.
In this role, you will use LinkedIn and other social networks to identify and reconnect with individuals who have previously been affiliated with the organization.
You will build, merge, and maintain Excel databases, ensuring accuracy and alignment with internal data structures.
You will verify, clean, and enhance existing data to improve overall reliability.
You will design clear and functional pivot table structures that support reporting and analysis.
You will communicate with members across Canada via email and online chat to update and confirm contact information.
You will handle confidential records with care, including sensitive situations such as closing files for deceased members.
Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and database organization.
Strong written communication in English and French.
High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage sensitive information with discretion.
Comfortable engaging with executive leaders and navigating personal or delicate topics when required.
