About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a well-known organization in the retail and consumer products space, supporting the search for an Apparel Product Developer who will help bring innovative, high-quality apparel to life. In this role, you will guide products from concept to final delivery, ensuring every detail supports the original intent, meets performance standards, and aligns with customer expectations.

You will collaborate closely with design, merchandising, sourcing, and production teams, working in an environment that values creativity, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement. Your Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will collaborate with design and innovation partners to translate creative concepts into clear and actionable product specifications.
  • You will research, evaluate, and select materials, trims, and components that align with design, performance, and cost goals.
  • You will manage prototypes and development samples, liaising with mills and vendors to maintain timelines and resolve issues.
  • You will create and maintain accurate tech packs and BOMs, ensuring all details are complete and consistent throughout development.
  • You will conduct market and trend research to support innovation, sustainability, and competitive positioning.
  • You will coordinate closely with sourcing and vendor teams to ensure design intent is executed effectively and cost targets are met.
  • You will oversee product data accuracy within PLM systems and support quality assurance processes through testing and issue resolution.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in apparel product development, working with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Science, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, textiles, and production methods.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and PLM systems.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple timelines.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style.
  • High attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics and quality.
