Your Responsibilities
- In this role, you’ll serve as the subject matter expert for the Visual ERP system, ensuring configuration, maintenance, and updates run smoothly.
You’ll lead ERP-related components of the month-end close, delivering accurate reporting and comprehensive manufacturing variance analyses. - You’ll create labour and overhead absorption reports and contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages.
- You’ll develop and maintain close documentation including checklists, workflows, and support tools.
- You’ll analyze financial data, monitor accuracy within the ERP, and build dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
- You’ll identify process inefficiencies, propose improvements, and implement best-in-class solutions that enhance operational and financial performance.
- You’ll collaborate with Operations, Sales, and Marketing to align ERP functionality with business needs and review variances on a recurring basis.
- You’ll support new team member training in Visual ERP and provide guidance to Purchasing and Accounts Payable on GL account usage.
Skills and Qualifications
- 8+ years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
Strong experience working with ERP systems, ideally Visual ERP - Go-getter and enthusiastic energy
- Proven ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and improve process efficiency
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in Operations, Sales, Marketing, or IT
- Strong communication, patience, and relationship-building skills, with an open-minded and steady approach
- CPA designation is an asset
