Our client, a reputable healthcare organization, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join their team in Richmond Hill, ON.

Start date: ASAP - 2 months contract (possible extension based on business needs).
Pay rate: $19/hour.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm.
Location: Richmond Hill (5 days on-site).
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Create, maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support the HR team in coordinating training and development programs for staff members.
- Manage employee attendance and time-off records.
- Assist in maintaining HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Handle general HR inquiries and provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous HR experience or education.
- Knowledge of HR best practices
- Excellent customer service, organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism.
