Job Description

Title: Business Intelligence Lead (Healthcare, CIS Program)
Location/Model: Remote (Canada) + travel to New Brunswick ~1×/month if needed (7.5-hour workday)
Contract term: 2 years with two (2) one-year optional renewal periods
Focus: Lead BI for province-wide Clinical Information Solution (CIS) standardization—strategy, framework, KPI design, stakeholder facilitation, documentation, and adoption.
Key deliverables: Review existing requirements; build BI framework; run/validate facilitation sessions; document processes (workflows/use cases/user guides/training); analyze gaps; recommend & track solutions; coordinate delivery/communications; NDA + Privacy Training before start.

Requirements 

Mandatory (must-have)

  • University degree in relevant field or equivalent mix of education/experience.

  • 10+ yrs healthcare leadership incl. cross-functional BI/analytics leadership; track record in large health programs.

  • 10+ yrs strategy & business planning in healthcare (multi-stakeholder, scope/plan, risk, future-proofing).

  • 6+ yrs managing a BI/reporting/analytics function/program in healthcare.

  • 8+ yrs project management leading large cross-functional teams delivering on scope/time/budget.

Desired (strong assets)

  • 10+ yrs experience across acute/primary/community care or research; business/clinical/digital transformations.

  • 6+ yrs building healthcare BI strategies/roadmaps; evaluating systems; defining data needs/sources & integration; forecasting/benchmarks/benefits.

  • 6+ yrs performance indicators/KPIs for programs (org/prov/national); dashboards & reports for multidisciplinary users.

  • 10+ yrs stakeholder mgmt across public/private; facilitation & consensus-building.

  • 5+ yrs translating requirements into operational/clinical reports (balanced scorecards, KPIs/OKRs, CIS reporting).

  • High self-direction; strong interpersonal collaboration at all levels.

  • Excellent executive communication, facilitation, and presentation.
