Accountant

We’re seeking Accountants for a variety of permanent and contract opportunities to support our clients in Edmonton. These roles are ideal for individuals who are highly organized, analytical, and driven to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. As an Accountant, you’ll play a key role in maintaining financial records, supporting month-end and year-end processes, and providing insights that help drive informed decision-making. Your strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively will directly contribute to the success of our clients’ finance teams.

Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and management reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and provide financial insights.
• Assist with internal and external audit preparation.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related role.
• CPA designation or working towards completion is considered an asset.
• Proficiency with financial systems such as SAP, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
