ServiceNow CMDB/CSDM Developer
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow CMDB/CSDM Specialist to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Common Service Data Model (CSDM) frameworks on behalf of our leading transit client. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in service modeling, governance, and alignment across ITOM and CSM, while ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and long-term sustainability of the CMDB.

Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of ServiceNow CMDB and CSDM frameworks.
Define and maintain CSDM data models, service portfolios, and technical services to support organizational objectives.
Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and controls for CMDB accuracy and consistency.
Define, track, and report on CMDB health KPIs to ensure data quality, completeness, and reliability.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align ServiceNow CMDB with ITOM, CSM, and other enterprise platforms.
Drive Service Mapping and Application Portfolio Management (APM) initiatives to enhance service visibility and dependency tracking.
Provide subject matter expertise on CMDB best practices, CSDM compliance, and ServiceNow platform capabilities.
Partner with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and improve CMDB processes.
Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the ServiceNow community of practice.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience implementing ServiceNow CMDB and CSDM frameworks.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on expertise in defining CSDM data models, service portfolios, and technical services.
Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated ability to design and enforce data governance practices and establish CMDB health KPIs.
Minimum of 5 years of strong experience with Service Mapping, Application Portfolio Management (APM), and ITOM/CSM alignment.
Preferred Qualifications:
ServiceNow CIS – CMDB or CSDM certification (or equivalent advanced experience).
