Job Description

Senior Project Manager - Cybersecurity & IT Resiliency Program

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Review and approve all project planning documents created by project managers using project management methodology and templates.

  • Oversee execution of all aspects of project plans, including WBS, financials, procurements, communications, quality, risks, and decisions.

  • Direct internal and external resources, including Project Managers, Business Analysts, Data Analysts, Developers, and Quality Assurance Analysts.

  • Foster a collaborative and healthy team environment.

  • Develop and manage or support existing program and project governance structures to drive consensus and achieve project outcomes.

  • Prepare and communicate detailed monthly and ad hoc reports to stakeholders, including status reports for the Program Steering Committee.

  • Manage scope, schedule, and risk, ensuring adherence to key milestones and corrective action plans when necessary.

  • Maintain a proper record and tracking of program-level risks, issues, and action plans.

  • Lead a diverse team of technical experts and senior leaders, requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Manage program budget, including sub-contractor and supplier performance.

  • Oversee technical management aspects, including design, build, testing, deployment, and change management.

  • Ensure adherence to Project Management Methodology (Atlas) and creation of required project artifacts.


Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum 3 years of program management experience.

  • Minimum 5 years of Information Security/Cybersecurity experience.

  • Strong IT infrastructure experience preferred.

  • Experience managing teams of at least six direct reports.

  • Extensive experience managing large-scale technology projects with budgets over $2M and teams of 10+ members.

  • Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive consensus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience presenting to senior leadership.

  • Strong ability to prioritize multiple conflicting demands in a fast-paced environment.

  • Solid experience with risk, change, issue, time, scope, resource, budget, and quality management.

  • Experience managing complex contracts.

  • PMP certification is a plus but not mandatory.

  • Experience leading interdisciplinary teams and managing technical and business resources.

  • Familiarity with organizational change management (OCM) principles.


Education
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Training in best practice project management techniques.


Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience developing and implementing technology projects aimed at improving business efficiencies.

  • Experience with full-cycle software development projects (SDLC).

  • Experience in consultation processes with multiple stakeholders.

  • Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and IT resiliency strategies.
