Job Description
Our client, a leading engineering firm, is seeking a Structural Project Manager to support the delivery of mid- and high-rise residential projects, with the opportunity to contribute to additional project types. This role supports both structural design and construction administration and works closely with internal engineering, drafting, and construction teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of assigned projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination.
- Act as the main internal liaison between stakeholders including design leads, engineers, drafters, and construction teams.
- Support communication with clients and internal teams, providing updates, resolving issues, and managing changes.
- Lead project meetings, ensuring alignment, progress tracking, and timely problem resolution.
- Maintain project schedules, documentation, risk assessments, and quality standards.
- Conduct project kick-off and close-out reviews, capturing learnings and process improvements.
- Facilitate smooth transitions between design and construction phases.
- Review drawings and contract documents for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects with varying priorities and timelines.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering (Civil/Structural) or Architecture.
- 5–10 years of experience in project management within engineering or construction.
- Strong skills in document control, process development, team coordination, and accountability frameworks.
- Experience reading and interpreting architectural/engineering drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and PDF markup tools (e.g., Bluebeam).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and a highly adaptable approach.
- Ability to work on-site full-time and travel to client or construction sites as required.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (mileage/parking reimbursed).
- Ability to obtain federal security clearance (Reliability status required; Secret or higher may be required for some projects).

Compensation
- Salary: $100,000+ (based on experience)
- 15 days vacation annually
