Business Analyst

Our Banking client is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong domain expertise in Banking and Finance (Canada & US markets) to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who excels in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions and can collaborate across multiple teams in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with business users to elicit, document, and decompose requirements.
• Collaborate with data engineers in ETL and data migration processes.
• Take ownership roles when needed, stepping in as Product Owner or Scrum Master.
• Analyze business processes, identify gaps and opportunities, and define solutions.
• Write clear and concise user stories, manage backlogs, and lead scrum calls.
• Work across multiple teams to align and manage evolving business requirements.
• Assist in testing and UAT activities during later stages of the project lifecycle.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders through both written and verbal communication.

Required Qualifications:

• 8–10 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong background in Banking and Finance, especially across Canada and the US.
• Proven experience in ETL processes.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Ability to analyze flow impacts and understand high-level technical concepts.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with data migration projects.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
