Job Description
Our client, a leader in the research and innovation industry, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bilingual HR and Payroll Assistant to support their seasonal mentor hiring and onboarding process. This is a short-term, temporary role with a focus on ensuring a seamless and efficient onboarding experience for their new hires.
This position is remote and open to candidates Canada-wide. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
- Draft and send employment agreements to mentors
- Prepare written communications in English and French for new hires, such as onboarding instructions or payroll information
- Answer any questions from new hires regarding document collection and other onboarding processes
- Verify all required documents are collected and follow-up, as needed
- Enter new hire data accurately into payroll system and set up in Ceridian Dayforce
- Maintain records to ensure appropriate tracking of new hire set-up
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bilingual - English and French
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of payroll processing and experience with Ceridian Dayforce or a similar platform is an asset
