Job Description

Our client in the Property Management Industry is seeking a Property Administrator to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. This role involves handling tenant inquiries, maintaining professionalism, and delivering exceptional customer service. Working closely with the property manager, you will contribute to property management tasks, including reporting, budgeting, tenant correspondence, and general administration.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage accounts receivable collections for designated properties.
  • Input cheque data into YARDI, prepare daily cash receipt lists, and ensure secure filing of post-dated cheques.
  • Handle tenant collections, reconciliations, and prepare A/R adjustments.
  • Issue rental advice notices and coordinate changes in the YARDI database.
  • Manage final meter reading requirements and billing changes with utilities.
  • Maintain tenant contact lists and emergency call-out lists.
  • Respond to tenant service requests and draft communication materials.
  • Provide administrative support to the Property Manager.
  • Address tenant inquiries and ensure satisfaction through follow-up.
  • Prepare tenant chargeback invoices, draft correspondence, and maintain accurate tenant lease information in YARDI.
  • Review monthly rent rolls, update contact information, and assist in monthly report preparation.
  • Enter purchase orders into YARDI and support special projects.

Requirements: 
  • Minimum of 1 year of Commercial Property experience.
  • Experience using Yardi is an asset.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, coupled with a proactive, results-oriented, and resourceful approach.
  • Capacity to meet deadlines while upholding accuracy, excellent product quality, and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft products, particularly MS Word and Excel.
